About CristenCristen Kennedy is a sexuality educator based in New York City with over 7 years of experience working at education based, health focused sexuality organizations. She spent 4 years as the lead educator and education coordinator at sexuality based educational businesses in Washington, D.C. She is also a repeat guest lecturer at George Washington University and the University of Maryland.
Cristen's passion lies in working with medical professionals to develop best practices for creating more positive sexual health outcomes with their patients. Specifically, she is focused on how health professionals address sexual health disparities with disabled and chronically ill patients. To this end, Cristen became a facilitator for the American Medical Student Association's (AMSA) Sexual Health Leadership Conference in 2015. She is also deeply committed to providing active consent trainings and pairing with bystander intervention programs to help reduce the prevalence of sexual assault on college campuses. Cristen has specific expertise in one on one sexual health consulting, sexual and relationship communication skills building, active consent training, bystander intervention training, and sexual product material safety. Cristen has her Masters in Human Sexuality Education from Widener University. |
